Hi, I’m Maria!

I'm an Early Childhood teacher with a passion for holistic, child-led education, and currently studying to become a Play Therapist.

In 2022, I created The Holistic Playroom with a simple but heartfelt vision: to offer children and families a calm, nurturing space that felt more like a community than a classroom — a place where childhood could be slow, meaningful, and grounded in play, connection, and belonging.

Designed with purposeful materials and inspired by alternative educational approaches, every element of the space supports the whole child: physically, emotionally, and intellectually. Through hands-on experiences and guided social interactions, children develop confidence, emotional regulation, and strong social skills in a gentle and respectful way.
